

Lachanenche
It is in the heart of the Southern Alps in Haute Provence that the family-owned distillery Lachanenche, founded by Nicole and Daniel Million Rousseau, elaborates liqueurs, aperitifs and spirits. This craft production is accompanied by an agricultural activity of red berries (raspberries and blackcurrants) entirely dedicated to the production of spirits with intense flavors. Since the first vintage of raspberry liqueur in 1994, they have pushed their know-how to develop a range of multi-awarded spirits that reveals the incomparable aromas of plants, flowers and local fruits of the Ubaye Valley.
Today their sons, Benoît and Jérôme Million Rousseau, both passionate about the world of spirits and craftmanship, distill with the family still. They knew how to make themselves known beyond the Alps by distinctions in national and international competitions with their astonishing, rare and authentic spirits, magnifying and mixing the flavors of the Alps and Provence.
The Lachanenche distillery produces organic spirits, without additives, extracts or artificial colour fully elaborated with fresh fruits and wild plants harvested in the surrounding mountains or from organic production. The company's philosophy is respectful of the terroir, the environment and it works in order to offer its customers quality, organic products from a sustainable local economy.
