Mah Spirit

MAH is a tribute to Mahua, an ancestral tribal alcohol from central India. Distilled for millennia from the flower of the Mahua tree, local communities use its bark, fruit and leaves to heal and nourish. Its sweet and juicy flowers are dried, fermented and distilled into a drink so delicious that spirits, animals and humans love it with equal fervour.A victim of colonial laws, it was banned for a long time, but was preserved by local traditions.Collaboration between France and India gave birth to “MAH - Spirit of the Forest“, a white spirit distilled under vacuum in Charente.Its floral notes combined with a fruity and light length in the mouth allow it to be enjoyed neat or in a cocktail. Often described as one-of-a-kind, it settles onto your palate with relative ease, after the initial pleasant surprise.
