Painturaud Frères

The estate has been run by the Painturaud family since the late 19th century, and has expanded over the years. In 1934, Jacques-Guy Painturaud (the second generation) decided to market his own cognacs and pineaux des Charentes under his own name, to distinguish himself from the major trading houses. He was also one of the first winegrowers in the appellation to market Pineau des Charentes. He was succeeded by his son Jacques. Today, Jacques Painturaud has handed over to two of his four sons, Jean-Philippe and Emmanuel, who carry on the family tradition.

The entire vineyard (38 hectares) is located in SEGONZAC, in the heart of the "Grande Champagne", 1er Cru d'Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée "COGNAC".
