CHRISTIAN DROUIN Millésime 1973 (42%)

Calvados Pays d'Auge distilled in 1973 and kept to this day in oak casks that have only contained Calvados and are regularly regenerated with cider.

Comments published in the Nouvel Economiste on 23.12.1999: "A magnificent balance between fruit and wood. The oak is fine and light, allowing the apple to express itself: a very Pays d'Auge Calvados with aromas of cooked vanilla apples and a touch of pepper. The attack is soft, the palate silky and enveloping. The maturity has not killed the freshness. A real pleasure".
