Calvados Pays d'Auge Double distillation in copper pot still. Aged in old Calvados casks and old Sauternes casks.
The first nose is pastry-like, blending aromas of caramelised apples, crème brûlée and egg cream. It then opens up to a classic rancio of dry spices marked by nutmeg.
Full and round on the palate. Finishes on gingerbread.
