Nose Slightly rancio, rancid butter, dried fruit, marzipan, and opens more clearly on aromas of smoked bacon, leather and concludes with notes of burnt sugar and a slight mentholated edge.

Palate The attack is frank, the whisky is round, fat, full-bodied and well defined. The mid-palate is opulent but not devoid of nervousness.

Finish The finish is relatively oily, with a hint of peat. Minty aromas (eucalyptus) round off this tasting experience.
