TWELVE Basalte 5+7 (57%)

The nose is captivating, with notes of candied fruit, quince jam cooked in a cauldron, spring honey and calisson d'Aix. The whisky opens with aromas of sultanas, custard and a touch of vanilla.

The palate is greedy, smooth but slightly spicy, reminiscent of its 57% alcohol. The mid-palate is generous and full-bodied, but still very dynamic.

The finish is relatively powerful but very long, with woody and spicier aromas making their appearance.
