Bertrand

In Alsace, since 1874, the Bertrand distillery has cultivated this essential patience and knows how to take a break when nature dictates to let the best of its terroir express itself and develop. Gathering exceptional raw materials, visionary and respectful of tradition, Jean Metzger, "the child of the country" became a pioneer in maturing the first whiskies - he was 20 years old - in Uberach at the dawn of the 21st century. He then went on to create an atypical Alsatian spirit : Biersky. Now also producing organic fruit brandies, the Bertrand distillery is continuing its quest for finesse to bring out the best in its terroirs, as the heir to a long heritage of expertise.
