Les Chineurs De Malts
Located near Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in the Vaucluse region, Les Chineurs de Malts produces single malt whisky. In 2021, spirits merchant Loïc Puviland and œnologist Jean-Yves Pomaret joined forces and began building their first stocks by sourcing distillates from small French producers while they designed and built their own distillery from scratch. It opened in 2024. Their artisanal method relies on the use of local barley, long fermentations, double distillation in a “Pot Still” heated by an open flame, and aging in a Mediterranean dry cellar. Their goal? To create fine, unique, and authentic whiskies!
