Castan

The origins of the Castan Distillery go back to 1941 when Gilbert Castan, a vintage boiler, bought a travelling still hat dates back to 1907.

If other times the main activity of the Castan family was the distillation of fruit, it is in 2010 that Sébastien Castan, third generation, and his wife Céline, will reinvent this profession by relying on a new drink: whisky. Since then, the "Maison Castan", located in Villeneuve sur Vère, has been working for excellence in accordance with its traditional methods.
