Distillerie Saint-Gervais
The distillery is located at an altitude of 1365m in the town of Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc in Haute-Savoie. It is the highest micro-distillery in Western Europe. It was built by James Abbott and his friends, from recycled materials. James wants to demonstrate that it is possible to accomplish things without ruining the planet: solar energy, recycled materials and no plastic. The mountain distillery is small, with an open flame copper still, producing just 135 bottles per distillation. Our Mission is to create a world-class gin and whisky in an environmentally sensitive way, in the Pays du Mont-Blanc. We want to help make France known for its gin and whisky!
