The Small Batch N°1 is a creation resulting from three different malts, a double distillation in a Charentais alembic, followed by an ageing in French and American oak barrels and then a finish in the Vermouth barrels of Chambéry. The whole is sublimated by a very slow reduction with water from the Mont Blanc glaciers. A local French whisky, both powerful and subtle, where the Vermouth flavors pleasantly replace the more classic notes.

Tasting:

Liquid Surface: Bright.
Color : A golden color with amber reflections.
Tears: Very fat.
Nose : Powerful, with spicy and fruity notes, with muscat grape accents.
2nd nose: Delicate notes of almond supported by the presence of a fine and sufficiently discreet woodiness.
3rd nose : After shaking, the nose becomes more intense, revealing aromas of candied fruits, cooked spices and pastry.
Aromatic finish: Its slow aeration complexifies and embellishes the whole, offering an assuredly gourmand and particularly spicy nose.
Structure/Savory: A full, suave and decidedly greedy mouth. Its structure is supple and perfectly achieved.
Aroma : Herbal notes appear afterwards : dry lemon balm, peppermint, basil syrup... A seductive marriage of plants and spices skillfully refreshes the finish.
Balance : Very pleasant and successful balance between woody and tender aromas for a greedy, almost sweet sensation, evoking the flavors of Vermouth.
Aftertaste: Very pleasant, marked by spices and noble roots such as turmeric.
Taste persistence : Very long.
